Camus has been writing for Cine Outsider (née DVD Outsider) since the site's inception in 2003. His adopted pseudonym is in respect of the great French author Albert Camus and his best known work 'The Outsider' aka 'L'Étranger'. His passion for film remains undimmed despite the best efforts of modern Hollywood. Through the site, he is able to communicate his enthusiasm for movies past and in some rare cases in the mainstream, movies present. He has practical knowledge of the filmmaking process having been a professional in the industry for 40 years and this informs a more often than not sympathetic point of view in terms of movie criticism.
