The latest film from widely acclaimed Japanese filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda (After Life, Still Walking, I Wish, Like Father, Like Son), Our Little Sister [Umimachi Diary] was described as "Exquisite" by Peter Bradshaw in The Guardian and "Full of quiet joy and simple pleasures" by Tim Robey in The Telegraph. It was also a hit at the 2016 Awards of the Japanese Academy, winning five major awards – including Best Film and Best Director – and being nominated for a further eight, and was nominated for the Palme D'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
