Mia Hansen-Løve’s Things to Come on Blu-ray and DVD in November

25 October 2016

Winner of the Silver Bear for Best Director at Berlinale 2016, acclaimed filmmaker Mia Hansen-Løve’s fifth feature is a tender, contemplative drama; a moving portrait of womanhood featuring an irresistible collaboration with legendary actor Isabelle Huppert (Amour, White Material).

Nathalie (Huppert) teaches philosophy at a high school in Paris. She is deeply passionate about her job and enjoys passing on the pleasure of thinking. Married with two children, she divides her time between her family, former students and her eccentric mother, leading a life of personal and intellectual fulfillment. Unexpectedly, Nathalie's husband announces he is leaving her for another woman. With a newfound freedom suddenly thrust upon her, Nathalie must reinvent herself and establish a new way of living.

Featuring a remarkable performance from Isabelle Huppert, Things to Come is an intelligent, poetic and naturalistic exploration of one woman’s pursuit of happiness. Having gathered substantial critical acclaim across the festival circuit, it certifies Mia Hansen-Løve as one of the most distinguished emerging auteurs in European cinema.

Things to Come will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on 7 November 2016 by Curzon Artificial Eye at the RRP of £19.00 for the Blu-ray and £15.99 for the DVD.
