Alexander is like any other kid: playful, curious and naive. He is also a trained assassin. Ariel Kleiman's Partisan launched at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and stars Vincent Cassel (La Haine, Black Swan, Elizabeth) as Gregori, the leader of an apocalyptic, secluded commune. Alexander (Jeremy Chabriel) is like any other kid: playful, curious and naive. He is also a trained assassin. Raised in a hidden paradise, Alexander has grown up seeing the world through the eyes of his father, Gregori. As Alexander begins to think for himself, creeping fears take shape and Gregori’s idyllic world unravels.
Described as "Confident and chilling" by Indiewire and "An impressive feature debut" by Starburst, Partisan arrives in UK cinemas on 8th January and on UK DVD on 11th January from Metrodome.
