Nic Cage horror Pay the Ghost on Blu-ray, DVD & download in October

8 September 2015

When English literature professor Mike Lawford’s (Nicolas Cage) takes his son Charlie (Jack Fulton) to a Halloween parade, Charlie mysteriously disappears.

A year later, Mike begins to see visions of his missing son and he suspects there’s a link between Charlie and hundreds of other missing children. As Mike begins to put the clues together, he uncovers something more terrifying than he ever imagined...

Based on a story by British horror novelist Tim Lebbon (Dusk), Pay the Ghost comes from a good pedigree. It harks back to classic suspenseful chillers such as Don’t Look Now and The Innocents, while delivering shocks and filmmaking style of contemporary horror hits that include Insidious, Sinister and The Conjuring.

Nicolas Cage plays the lead, doing what he does best as a man possessed. The supporting cast includes genre favourites Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead) and Lyriq Bent (the Saw series) and the film was directed by acclaimed German-born Uli Edel, whose credits include Christiane F., Last Exit to Brooklyn, The Baader Meinhof Complex and episodes from Homicide: Life on the Street.

Pay the Ghost is released on UK Blu-ray, DVD and digital download on 26th October 2015 by Arrow Films at the RRP of £12.99 for either disc edition.
