Zombie apocalypse anthology horror Zombieworld on DVD in June

21 April 2015

The end is here! The Zombie Apocalypse is upon us – and all you can do is kick back and watch how it happened, right here, right now in the place we call Zombieworld.

Satisfy your thirst for all things zombie as we take you back in time to the biblical rise of the living dead; before running screaming from continent to continent as reports of zombie devastation arrive from Ireland, Canada, Australia and all over the U.S.

With ultra-violence, gallons of gore and heaps of bloody fun, Zombieworld is a collection of 13 short films, each taking the living dead as its main theme and each made by a different director. The film's IMDb score isn't too great, but the horror press have tended to warm to the film, with Fangoria calling it a "High concept ultra-violent awesomeness" and Bloody Disgusting saying it was "A bloody good time."

Zombieworld will be released on UK DVD on 8th June 2015 from Image Entertainment at the RRP of £12.99.

The only listed extra feature is titles Marathon Apocalypse. I don't know what that is.

Here's the trailer. Watch for the screaming Jesus...
