Neo-noir favourite The Last Seduction on Blu-ray in January

16 December 2014

For anyone out there who hasn't had the pleasure, the 1994 The Last Seduction is an acclaimed neo-noir, directed by John Dahl (Red Rock West, Rounders) and superbly scripted by Steve Barancik (Domino). This classy erotic thriller remains a timeless, exceptionally stylish movie that effortlessly raised the benchmark in sociopathic cool.

Linda Fiorentino (Men in Black, Dogma) stars as the ultimate screen bitch Bridget Gregory, the wife of Clay Gregory, an unscrupulous doctor who has just made almost a million dollars from a drug deal. Stealing the money and hiding out in 'cow country' to avoid her husband and his private investigator, she begins a passionate affair with local man Mike.

Mike has never met anyone like Bridget. She’s intelligent, classy, beautiful, dangerous; a master of emotional and sexual manipulation. Passion, greed and revenge forge a desperate triangle as Bridget controls events that can only have a tragic outcome.

The Last Seduction will be released on UK Blu-ray on 26th January 2015 by Network Distribution at the RRP of just £14.99. Not bad at all for a Blu-ray with extra features, which are:

  • Director’s Cut option (SD only) with commentary

  • Alternate ending

  • The Art of Seduction - making of documentary

  • Original theatrical trailer

  • Behind the scenes footage
