As Blood Runs Deep, aka Maskada, on DVD in September

2 August 2011

Nick Stahl (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Carnivale) stars as small-town detective Noah Cordin, who is called to solve a juvenile homicide that occurred during a home burglary in the affluent town of Hilliard. The dead boy's mother, Allison Connor, is a powerful woman in Hilliard and rallies the township together in solidarity to support her and Detective Cordin's efforts to find the killers. But things aren't always what they seem and some crimes find their criminals.

Metrodome are at it again with the title changes, though a lttle known film with a title like Maskada doubtless gave them the publicity heebie-jeebies, hence the switch to As Blood Runs Deep. Word is variable on this one, with reservations about script, plot holes and structure. Er, and direction. Maybe there's another reason for that title change...

Either way, Maskada – sorry, As Blood Runs Deep – which also stars Kellen Lutz (Twilight), Grace Gummer, and Rachel Nichols (Star Trek), will be released on UK DVD on 5th September 2011 by Metrodome Distribution Ltd, at the RRP of £15.99.

No extra features have been listed, but here's a trailer:
