Metalocalypse may not be a familiar title to UK viewers, but it's gathered enough of a cult following to warrant serious attention. It's an animated comedy series from Adult Swim that follows the on and off-stage adventures of Dethklok, the world's most popular and heaviest metal band – so popular that thousands of fans will travel to a remote area of Scandanavia to hear them perform a jingle for a coffee company.

The press release elaborates more, but is likely to leave the unitiated scratching their heads. But it does sound rather fun...
