To mark the release of the successful micro-budget horror movie Paranormal Activity, still in cinemas nationwide, Icon Film Distribution are offering film buffs the chance to create and submit their own short film of paranormal activity to feature on the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of the feature film.

Your film can be in any style you wish, whether it be actual or fictional paranormal activity, or even your own spoof version of the film. At no more than three minutes long, it can be hair-raising, hip and/or hilarious as long its original (i.e. don't use clips, dialogue or music from any other sources that you haven't created yourself).

The entries will be judged by the director of Paranormal Activity himself, Oren Peli, with the ultimate winner having their film introduced on the DVD. In addition to this considerable accolade, the winner will also receive a FLIP Digital Video Camera, a 6 Month VIP Membership with LOVEFiLM.com and a copy of the DVD or Blu-Ray of the film.

But everyone's a winner who enters the competition and has their film accepted.  The runners-up will also be included as a special feature on the DVD and Blu-Ray and will receive their very own copy of Paranormal Activity in the format of their choice.
