When friends Tony Anderson (Fred Hunting) and Carl Fields (Gregory C. Haynes) experience car trouble on their way home from college, they unsuspectingly stumble upon a neo-Nazi militia. Before long, Tony and Carl have become prey in a deadly game of cat and mouse and must overcome their own prejudice to survive.
At the age of 21, Rocco DeVilliers (Flyboys) set out to make his first feature film on a meagre budget of $15,000, using his friends as actors and crew. Inspired by the ongoing racial tensions and underground militia groups that continue to capture the world's headlines, DeVilliers' delivers a tense, action-packed independent work that deserves to be more widely seen. Enter Eureka! Video, who have announced that they will be releasing Pure Race on DVD in the UK on 22nd September 2008 at the RRP of just £12.99, with a 4:3 transfer and the following extra features:
- Director and actor commentary;
